Colin died on Saturday 29th April aged 37, with his wife Zara at his side. He lived in Peterborough but grew up in St.Neots and worked at Perkins Engines. He has a beautiful daughter Jade, his dad Eddie, his mum Tocky, his step mum Irene and a brother Geoff. He also has his mum in law Sue, father in law Derek, sister in laws Lianne and Tanya, his brother in laws Dave, Al and Rob, and his neices and nephews Kieran, Luke, Corinna, AJ, Jessica and Daniel. He was also a friend to many, many people and the best friend of Darren.
He is and always will be sorely missed xx

Nearly 5 years since you were taken from us:(. Time certainly flies... i still feel like it was only yesterday that i saw you :). Morgan and brooklyn are fine:) .. Miss You
Hi Dad, the last time i wrote on here was when morgan was nearly 4 months she's now 20 months!!! You are now a grandad to a gorgeous little boy too- his names Brooklyn Colin Hampstead-Payne and he looks like you.. he has your nose! Morgan has just started to say grandad... she is so grown up and im sure if you were still here she would love you to bits! I tell her all of our stories like that time when we were sitting in the dark for god knows how long because you didnt know how to change a lightbulb and when you killed my goldfish by putting it in hot water because you thought it was a bit cold!!! Mums doing fine, shes got richard who is brilliant... You sent her a good one there! :) Nanny and grandad are fine too, grandad is still as funny as ever haha... we kind of look up to him to make us laugh now because you arent here. Aunty Lianne and boys are also absolutely brilliant... she has a new man so hopefully things will work ouit there... he knew you!.. he remembered ya walk and would always see ya on way to work havin a fag haha!. I still miss you each and every day and love you always!!! Will write again soon... :)
